MISSION & OUTREACH

Grace-Partnership-Logo-150x150

Abundant Grace is part of a movement of churches throughout the United States and the World that share a common purpose and mission. Abundant Grace cannot do alone what we can do together in a partnership. We voluntarily and happily join with Grace Partnership to accomplish our goals worldwide.

Grace Partnership is a partnership of local churches serving together in the gospel of Jesus Christ.  The same mission of the early church continues as churches partner together today.  Our desire is to support one another in the mission of the gospel through:

  • Partnering together in local and global mission.
  • Pastoral and church relationships centered on mutual care and encouragement.
  • Practical equipping contexts that strengthen one another.

Shared mission, mutual care, equipping one another.  This is Grace Partnership and this is Abundant Grace.

Abundant Grace supports PASSAGE Christian Academy which opened its doors in 2010 as the fruit of a pastor’s heart. Dr. George B. Dix, Jr. had always had a desire to make a difference in the community by reaching the educationally underserved and underprivileged of Gainesville and Alachua County. Specifically, he envisioned a school that would provide excellence in education coupled with the saving knowledge of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Having seen too many failing students, failing schools, and failed remedies in the region to stand idly by and do nothing, he and First Lady Michele Dix founded PASSAGE Christian Academy as a private Christian academy with a solid mission: to provide students with a well-rounded academic education and moral foundation that would prepare them for leadership and success in both the Kingdom and secular arenas of life.

HOH

Abundant Grace supports House of Hope, a ministry that works with men and women whose lives have been devastated by crime, drugs, and alcohol. They provide a welcoming, nurturing, Christ-centered environment which encourages and guides Christian ex-offenders, both male and female, to serve and grow in the Lord as they are productively assimilated into society.

The Navigators is a is a ministry marked foremost by its mission to love and serve Christ through discipleship—a call to discover life to the fullest. By teaching the life-giving application of Scripture in daily life, The Navigators’ goal is to carry forward Christ’s instructions to make disciples who in turn make other disciples.   We support Ben Burchardi and Kyle Kozloski, both have been members of Abundant Grace.  Kyle is in leadership on the FSU Campus and Ben is in leadership on the University of South Carolina.  Right now more than 21.6 million students on college campuses across the nation are learning the ideas and values that will form the cornerstone that the rest of life will build on. Many are spiritually hungry for truth. By carrying out The Navigators mission of discipleship, both Kyle and Ben’s desire is to see students place Christ as the cornerstone of their life.
